This story is about the fictional land of Ruritania. The main character is Rudolf Rassendyll. He looks like the next king Rudolf Elphberg very much. Elphberg has half-brother Michael. Michael kidnapped Elphberg in the castle in a small town named Zenda to become next king. Then Rassendyll came to attend the coronation in place of Elphberg and fell in love with princess Flavia who was Elphberg’s fiancée. In the last, Elphberg recovered the throne, and Rassendyll parted from Flavia.

This book is interesting but it was difficult to read. Rassendyll’s adventures were exciting and I learned his true love of Flavia.
