I have heard this book name, The Phantom of the Opera, before but it is first time for me to read this story. It is interesting. I pity Erik and I understand his sadness. I also feel his sorrow. This book describes Erik’s pity well, especially in the last scene. I come to want to see the movie or musical.

It was the first time to read stories of Gulliver . Stories are all interesting . I can imagine many terrible situations which are described in this story . I was excited while I was reading this book. I was also surprised when the flying island named Laputa appears in this book . I know the Japanese animation movie about Laputa so I think there is some relation between Laputa in this book and Laputa in the movie.

This story is interesting I did not think that Maria is tomb robber. Author had the idea for this story in the back streets of Alexandria. In this story, there is the curse that people, who take the pharaoh’s treasure away from tomb, will die of cobra’s venom. In the last of this story, Tim and Maria ride a car together and they find white cobra in the car. This story is end in this scene. I think they will die soon.
